Advantage Underwriting Ltd
Advantage Underwriting Limited is an MGA based in Jersey, Channel Islands who are regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission and are Lloyd's Coverholders. We provide a range of insurance policy covers to an established network of regional insurance brokers throughout the UK. We are owned by the Polygon Group, a Channel Island based investment and insurance business.
Originally established in 2006 (as Adding1 Ltd) we commenced business as a wholesale broker marketing commercial insurance products to a network of UK based retail brokers. Adding1 was a pioneer of introducing AIG into the SME insurance market with a range of commercial combined and motor fleet products, allowing provincial brokers access to an exclusive market. Always innovative, we then became one of the first intermediaries to market Excess Protection insurance into the retail broker market.
The company formally changed name in early 2014 to Advantage Underwriting to reflect its growth and new capabilities, providing a range of insurance products to its broker network.
