Contessa Limited is a London-based, privately owned underwriting agency. We provide a unique channel for UK and Irish business between a select number of well-established and supportive brokers and a carefully chosen panel of Insurers.
Contessa Limited commenced business in January 2003 emerging out of Holt (UK) Ltd transferring the existing business including run off accounts. Therefore, even though Contessa Limited have been active for over a decade, our management and staff have an even longer reputation and standing within the London Market, having worked both in Lloyd’s of London and Company environments. With this experienced team, we work in close partnership with handpicked insurers and insurance brokers, maintaining long-term and profitable relationships.
Our products are developed and managed to cater for a wide range of risks within the lines of business that we offer. Our tailored approach allows us to offer bespoke quotations rather than utilising the rigid tick box methodology.
